The ZfP has acquired a new TIMSTOFpro system

The timsTOF Pro is a state-of-the-art quadrupol coupled time of flight tandem mass spectrometer. It uses ion mobility as a second dimension of analyte separation, which -coupled to the Parallel Accumulation Serial Fragmentation (PASEF) acquisition method- leads to extremely high speed and sensitivity to reach new depths in shotgun proteomics and phosphoproteomics, using low sample amounts. The system is coupled to an nano Elute UPLC system that allows rapid and binary separation.
